How to Configure SPF, DKIM & DMARC for 99.8% Email Deliverability

Why Email Authentication Matters More Than Ever in 2026

In early 2024, Google and Yahoo introduced strict authentication requirements for senders. Today, if your business domain lacks properly aligned SPF and 2048-bit DKIM records, your emails will either land in the spam folder or be rejected at the gateway level.

1. Sender Policy Framework (SPF)

SPF is a DNS TXT record that lists all authorized IP addresses allowed to send emails on behalf of your domain. A typical record for Lipiyo Mail looks like:

v=spf1 include:spf.lipiyo.com ~all

2. DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM)

DKIM uses asymmetric cryptographic keys to sign your email headers. The receiving server validates this signature against your public key published in DNS.

3. DMARC Enforcement

DMARC ties SPF and DKIM together. It instructs recipient servers what action to take (none, quarantine, or reject) when an unauthenticated email claims to come from your company.
